Welcome!
Frontiers Foundation acquired this property on Coxwell Avenue in Toronto – a closed-down garment factory – with a vision to convert the two buildings to affordable housing. The development was completed, largely with a volunteer workforce, in December of 2002, creating 74 new units of affordable housing for the Indigenous community in Toronto.
Twenty years later, with an ever-growing need for more affordable housing, the development was expanded. Two additional 12-unit buildings were constructed on excess parking space, providing 24 more homes.
